A tradition of service and caring began in Kewanee in the early 1900's with the founding of the Erickson-McHugh Funeral Home. After many years of service to the community, the ownership passed on to the Seifert Funeral Home and later to the Creamer Funeral Home. In 1974, Rux Funeral Home came into existence, continuing the operation of a firm that has been there through the years.
Changes and relocation have occurred through the years. However, one thing has remained constant. The same high tradition of service and caring that began in the early 1900's is still the most important thing that we can offer our families during their time of need.
